Beautiful Bride Natassja and handsome groom James Mnyupe were crowned as the Republikein Bridal Couple of the Year
award, having beaten 234 other entries to the top spot.
The Mnyupe’s, whose ‘How we Met’ story charmed the judges and earned them a spot in the finals,walked away with prizes valued at approximately N$97 000.
The finals, which took place at the 2015 Namibia Tourism Expo, saw 12 couples briefly relieve their most romantic day of
their lives.
The second runners-up were the gorgeous and vibrant couple Allvan and Melandi Farmer, who brought down the house
with their loved up enthusiasm.
Third place went to Mikey and Leonie du Toit, whose story of how they met left few dry eyes amongst the audience.
The glamorous evening saw 12 couples walk down the aisle for a second time, dressed just as they were when they first tied the knot in the past 12 months.
A total of N$170 000 worth of prizes were handed out to the 12 finalists, with everyone walking away a winner.
